No section of the policy will apply in respect of any person where that person: (i) has a pre-existing medical condition(s) (ii) has been in the last 12 months, under the care of any hospital or under any prescribed medication (iii) anticipates any treatment or tests in the future or is on a waiting list for in-patient or day-patient treatment (iv) has submitted a medical or medical related claim in the last three years Unless that person has completed a full medical questionnaire which we have formally accepted and confirmed our acceptance of that medical condition in writing or by endorsement 2. Any person aged 80 or over unless otherwise endorsed by us 3. An insured person engaging in manual work in conjunction with any profession, business or trade, or taking part in steeplechasing, polo, hunting and professional sport(s), mountaineering (normally requiring ropes or requiring the services of a guide), pot holing, canyoning, fighting (except in self-defence), scuba-diving below a depth of 30 metres, parachuting, racing, speed or endurance tests or practising for such events (other than athletics), or any form of organised team sport. The insured person's suicide, insanity, intentional self-injury, alcoholism, drug addiction or solvent abuse or the insured person being under the influence of drink or drugs. 6. Any wilful act of the insured person 7. HIV and AIDS 8. Pregnancy within 10 weeks of expected date of delivery 9. Claims arising from circumstances you were aware of at the commencement of the insurance period unless they have been disclosed to and accepted by us 10. Any claim under the personal baggage section will exclude: contact or corneal lenses, dentures, bonds, securities, stamps or documents of any kind, musical instruments, typewriters, glass, china, antiques, pictures, pedal cycles, hearing aids, coupons, computers, personal organisers, portable telephones, televisions, CD players, vehicles or accessories, boats and / or ancillary equipment, samples or merchandise or business goods or specialised equipment relating to a trade or profession.
